Worship the Creator
June 27, 2026 André K. Dugger
“They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served what has been created instead of the Creator, who is praised forever. Amen.”
Romans 1:25 (CSB)
As we take in the breathtaking beauty of the islands, crystal waters, stunning landscapes, and awe-inspiring views, it’s impossible not to be moved. Creation declares the glory of God in a way words often cannot.
But Paul gives us a necessary reminder: the beauty of creation is meant to lead us to the Creator, not replace Him.
In every generation, there is a temptation to admire what God has made while forgetting the One who made it. We can become so captivated by the gift that we lose sight of the Giver.
These moments of beauty are invitations; not destinations.
They invite us to pause, to reflect, and to worship. Not the ocean, not the mountains, not the experience; but the God who spoke it all into existence.
True worship always moves beyond what we see to who God is.
As you take in the beauty around you, let it deepen your awareness of Him. Let it draw your heart into gratitude, awe, and surrender.
Because creation, at its best, is a mirror; pointing us back to the glory of God.
The question is not whether the gospel will cost something; it will. The question is whether we are willing to remain faithful when it does.
Reflection Question: When you experience beauty in creation, does it lead you into deeper worship of the Creator?
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for the beauty of Your creation that surrounds me. Help me never to lose sight of You as the source of all that is good and beautiful. Draw my heart into deeper worship and gratitude as I reflect on Your greatness. In Jesus name, Amen.
